My first podcast has been running since 2004. For the past few months, my bandwidth capacity and limit hasn’t been allowing me to upload any more mixshows. For you techies, my allotted bandwidth traffic is 1 TB a month. I had 1.2 TB of traffic on the 13th of November. I guess it’s both good and bad.

So I decided to open up a second channel on iTunes. I applied 2 months ago but they kept rejecting it. Apple wasn’t specific as to why. They sent me generic support links and forum posts to read but they don’t tell you exactly why the podcast was rejected. I read up on RSS feed, XML structures, iTunes decoding topics, tagging, Apple Store keywording, etc. to see if my podcast feed had any errors.

Anyway, I received an email this morning from the iTunes store and they finally approved it. So here is the direct iTunes link that will take you straight to your iTunes app:

Dennis Blaze Podcast Channel #2

Or you can search your iTunes store for “Dennis Blaze” and find 2 channels to subscribe to.
